Cold, dry, and well aired
Berries keep best when they are chilled quickly and excess moisture can escape. Do not wash the whole box in advance; rinse only what you are about to eat.
Keep the berries in a wide container in a single layer in the fridge.
Remove soft berries straight away so they do not spoil the others.
Freeze extra berries separately first, then transfer them to a bag.
With a little care, you can enjoy good berries in porridge, smoothies, or pie later too.
